International Student Services | New Student Information
The Office of International Students & Scholars (OISS) hosts International Student Orientation for incoming international students.
All undergraduate and graduate international students on an F-1 and J-1 visa are required to attend the International Student Orientation. Students on other visas or who live abroad are also invited and encouraged to attend. The purpose of the International Student Orientation is to help you get settled into your new home at Quinnipiac and get you connected with peers, offices, and resources so you have a successful transition to studying at the University and living in Connecticut. During the orientation, students will receive valuable information regarding visa regulations, campus and local resources, cultural adjustment, and much more. A trained team of student leaders called Global Partners and International Graduate Fellows will also support your transition to campus life.
